EKA Mobility, a leading name in electric mobility and technology, has announced the appointment of Sohel Merchant as its Chief Innovation Officer (CIO). With over two decades of experience in vehicle engineering and program management, Merchant brings unparalleled expertise to the role. His illustrious career includes working with industry giants such as Tesla, Canoo Inc., Faraday Future Inc., and Ford Motor Company. 

Before joining EKA, Merchant co-founded Canoo Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure, he spearheaded the design of innovative electric platforms and vehicles for sectors ranging from commercial transportation to defense and space exploration. At Tesla, he contributed significantly to the design of the groundbreaking Model S and Model X vehicles, setting benchmarks in EV design and performance.
