Truecaller, a global leader in communication solutions, has appointed Gaurav Loomba as Senior Director of Public Affairs for India. Gaurav brings with him extensive experience, having previously served as the Assistant Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at Paytm. His career also includes significant roles at the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and ICICI Bank, reflecting his strong expertise in public policy and regulatory affairs.

This announcement follows the recent appointment of Seema Jindal, a seasoned professional from Bharti Airtel, to lead Truecaller's Public Affairs initiatives in the telecom sector. Expressing his enthusiasm about the role, Gaurav stated, "I am thrilled to take on the responsibility of Senior Director of Public Affairs at Truecaller. My focus will be on fostering deeper collaboration with government ministries and agencies while formulating strategies to ensure robust policy and regulatory support. This role allows me to contribute meaningfully to Truecaller's dedication to the Indian market."

India, with its over 383 million users, remains Truecaller’s largest and most significant market. The company continues to expand its public affairs footprint to better align with local regulatory dynamics. In his new role, Gaurav will work closely with Kari Krishnamurthy, Truecaller’s Chief Commercial Officer.
