Open AI, the parent company of ChatGPT, has appointed Kate Rouch as its first-ever Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as she leaves Coinbase, her former association.

Excited and inspired 

“This journey is my inspiration as I move into my next role as OpenAI’s first CMO, which I’ll be starting on Monday. I’ve had the rare opportunity to work with many of our generation's greatest founders,” Kate’s tweet stated.

Natural progression 

While talking about switching roles, Kate wrote “ Crypto and AI are complementary technologies, as you know. I'm not going anywhere “ giving potential hints about her involvement in the industry. It underlines her understanding of the intertwined dimension that both these sectors exhibit. 

Experience at Coinbase 

Kate wrote “Working here is the hardest and the greatest thing I’ve ever done. With the toughest and smartest people I know.” Her statement is a testimonial of the work and efforts that she had put in as a CMO at Coinbase while her mutual respect and acknowledgment of the team’s efforts. 

Prospects 

Being appointed as the very first Chief Marketing officer (CMO) of Open AI, Kate is poised to play a pivotal role in the future marketing efforts of Open AI.
