As the Christmas Holidays kick in, the CEO seems quite idle yet motivated to make the most of the upcoming year as he reaches out to the users and AI enthusiasts on X. He asks the users for the points they need him to build or fix in OpenAI and they reply with many interesting ideas like an adult mode, a family account, etc among others. 

It is interesting to note what the CEO says as he charts the thread on X. 

Adult Mode 

As the user asks to lose the guardrails, the CEO replies positively with a rider “definitely” asserting his inclination towards preferring such a feature engrained in the AI models of OpenAI to unleash full and extreme creativity and genesis. This debate makes a new entrance into the AI subject wherein the users want an adult mode, realizing the strengths and shortfalls of AI usage.

Family accounts 

Another interesting suggestion that caught the CEO’s eye was facilitating a “Family Account” that can allow the parents to let their children avail AI usage and track their journey with the same and learn about their thoughts and learning, just as a matter of conduct.

Family accounts. Let me create accounts for my kids with guard rails. Let their curiosity take off, but within reasonable limits, as determined by the parent.

Drag & Drop UI 

Some users and enthusiasts also suggested the CEO facilitate a drag-and-drop UI into the OpenAI models where multiple separate chats/models can be strung together to generate and refine outputs. To which he replies “This is an interesting idea I haven’t really thought about before!”

Imagine this coming from none other than the CEO of OpenAI.  

A slew of launches 

Not far back, OpenAI was on a spree to launch its 12 most important launches in 12 Days, 12 Livestreams wherein it came up with many interesting, appealing, and innovative launches poised to place its AI model ChatGPT, Video model Sora and Reasoning model OpenAI o1.
