This week marked the unveiling of Elon Musk’s XAI’s latest and newest reasoning model Grok-3 which boasts great capabilities or, simply put, it is the  “Smartest AI on the Earth” as the billionaire himself claims so. During the entire launch event, the billionaire continued to claim that the latest model is still in its learning phase. It didn't mean to undermine his team’s efforts behind the model or to sound underprepared but to let people of its real nature.

That’s where we’ll talk about its very first and newest feature which is updating itself regularly and not relying on a specific dataset, acquired previously. This makes it the most modern and appealing AI model as it can generate fresh data from the web, X posts, and beyond to refine its understanding of the world.

Grok 3: Self-correction for Accuracy

Another thing to talk about has got to be its approach to generating responses. Grok 3's reasoning capabilities, enhanced by large-scale reinforcement learning, enable it to think for seconds to minutes—correcting errors, exploring alternatives, and refining its responses for greater accuracy.

This can get the model a good appeal among AI enthusiasts as it is equipped to communicate real-time data that holds greater potential to retain its market and nurture it in turn.

Grok 3: Thinking Harder

The model has learned to refine its problem-solving strategies by backtracking to correct errors, simplifying steps, and applying knowledge gained during pretraining. Much like humans, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to reason through a problem—exploring multiple approaches, verifying its solutions, and ensuring it precisely meets the given requirements.

Grok 3: Beta Reasoning Models

The company has also debuted two beta reasoning models, Grok 3 (Think) and Grok 3 mini (Think).  Grok 3 (Think) achieved 93.3% in the 2025 American Invitational Mathematics Examination, 84.6% on graduate-level expert reasoning (GPQA), and 79.4% on LiveCodeBench for code generation and problem-solving.

Grok 3: Higher Accuracy

With a context window of 1 million tokens — 8 times larger than our previous models — Grok 3 can process extensive documents and handle complex prompts while maintaining instruction-following accuracy. It boasts state-of-the-art accuracy on the LOFT (128k) benchmark.

Excited to use it?  Grok 3 is now available to X Premium and Premium+ users on both X and Grok.com. In the meantime, its capabilities are being rolled out to all Grok users with usage limits, while Premium+ users will benefit from higher limits and advanced features.
