Whisk by Google is being expanded to 100 more countries, after its recent launch in the US in December. Whisk, an all-new image generation tool, enables users to generate originally new images using image prompts or reference images for different elements namely subject, scene, and style. It has now been expanded to Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, and Pakistan among others.
The tool integrates a creative process with Generative AI, enabling a transformative technology to take center stage amid the ongoing debate on the superiority of AI models. You can insert three image prompts coupled with some texts defining the eventual output, which will convert into a text prompt and further it to Google’s latest Image generation model “Imagen 3” to eventually generate a creative image.

Google Whisk: Availability
The tool is now available for use in: Brazil, Rwanda, Fiji, Ghana, Japan, Mauritius, Mexico, Türkiye, and others. To check if your country is there, visit Whisk. Interestingly, the tool isn't available in India as the list doesn’t include its name. Google hasn't specified any reason behind the same, while other major omissions remain Russia, Israel, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, etc.
Google Whisk: Text Prompts to Tackle Challenges
The model may generate subjects with variations in height, weight, hairstyle, or skin tone, along with inconsistencies in the scene, environment, or overall style that do not fully align with the prompt. These issues stem from inherent limitations in generative AI technology. To address this, Google has introduced text prompts that users can apply as needed to refine their results.
