Reliance Jio has unveiled a new tracking device called JioTag Go, designed specifically for Android users. This compact tracker seamlessly integrates with Google’s Find My Device network, enabling users to locate misplaced items with high precision. Whether it’s keys, wallets, luggage, or gadgets, JioTag Go is a versatile solution for keeping track of your belongings. The JioTag Go is priced at an affordable Rs 1,499 and comes in a variety of color options. It is available for purchase on platforms such as JioMart, Amazon, Reliance Digital stores, and My Jio Stores, ensuring wide accessibility for customers.

Features and functionality

The JioTag Go connects to an Android smartphone using the Google Find My Device app. Once registered, it leverages a network of nearby Android devices to provide real-time location updates, making it easier to track items accurately. If the tracker is within Bluetooth range, users can tap the 'Play Sound' button in the app to make the device emit a beep, facilitating quick recovery. For items that are out of Bluetooth range, the app displays the last known location along with the time it was last detected. The 'Get Directions' feature further aids users by opening a map to guide them to the tracker's location.

JioTag Air: A similar tracker for iOS

Reliance Jio had previously introduced the JioTag Air, a tracker tailored for iPhone users. This device integrates with the Apple Find My Network and offers features similar to the JioTag Go. Priced at Rs 1,499, it is also available through JioMart and other retail outlets. With the addition of the JioTag Go, Reliance Jio now caters to both Android and iOS users, providing a comprehensive solution for tracking valuable possessions.
