Currently, the Bengaluru Metro operates 73 kilometers of its network. With the completion of several ongoing projects, including the much-anticipated stretches of Phase 2, this figure is expected to increase significantly to 175 kilometers. The expanded network will connect more neighborhoods, reduce commute times, and alleviate traffic congestion in the city. The Metro expansion is part of a broader urban mobility initiative, integrating Metro rail services with other modes of public transport to offer seamless travel experiences for citizens.
